Diwali

Today i'm gonna post about Diwali. Diwali is a festival of joy and light. It is also a festival of pollution and mindless spending of money. I've just read that Bombay has just spent 600 crores on buying crackers. 600 CRORES!!!!!!! And thats only Bombay. Imagine how much the rest of India has spent. I mean is it really worth all this money just to enjoy one day of the year. Think of how many people could benefit. 55% percent of the people in india are living in poverty. There are people who have no place to sleep, no food to eat and children who beg on the street. Is Diwali really a festival where the rich have fun with no worry for the poor? Are people who live in India ignorant to this issue or are the just to egotistic to accept it? Also now there is increasing concern in the world for Global warming. Don't the crackers we burst increase pollution and temperature? The increase in pollutant levels causes symptoms like eye burns, running nose, skin allergy and skin rashes. There are many things you can do rather than burst crackers. We can have family and friend get- togethers and go out for family outings. Now I would like to conclude by asking if we really need to spend so much money to enjoy ourselves at the expense of many others?

LInkin Park Concert/F1 Grand Prix

Ok yesterday me and some of my friends went to the grand prix. I wasnt there for the race, i was there for linkin park. Linkin park came on stage at around 10:30pm. We totally went wild. but the crowd was just dead. I dont think anyone came there to enjoy. Everyone just stood there like zombies with a camera in their hand. We were pretty close but not too close. They started with new divide and played around 20 songs. My favorite one of the night was no more sorrow. They did the song with the alternate raindrops intro. Got goosebumps as soon as i heard the first raindrop. It all felt too short. They ended with bleed it out and Rob did his epic drum solo just like i wanted. All in all it was a great night that im not gonna forget my whole life.

Hey! I know its been a long time since my last post but ive been busy. Today il be blogging bout LINKIN PARK. Im going to their concert this week at the singapore F1 race. Cant wait. Those who know LINKIN PARK know that they're a rap/rock nu-metal band. Their first album hybrid theory was I feel their best album. This doesn't mean i dont like their other albums, i just like this one better.  I love their heavy distorted songs with Chester's screaming. One step closer and Given up are what made me a fan of their band. My favorite band member would have to be MiKe ShInOdA. His rapping in Points of Authority sounds so great with the distorted guitar backing. And Chester, he's one of the most the most talented vocalist I know. i dont like their new album A Thousand Suns. They've lost their signature feel. Catalyst,wretches and kings and waiting for the end are good but the other songs are just plain horrible. I really hope Linkin park will get back to their old style of music.
